Focus and Scope
JTSL (Jurnal Tanah dan Sumberdaya Lahan) aims to share knowledge of current research trends, experiences, and research practices among scientists, industry, communities and policy makers related to soil and land resource management. Jurnal Tanah dan Sumberdaya Lahan provides original research results and reviews of all aspects on soil and land resources management which is include: soil fertility, soil physic, soil chemistry, soil biology, pedology and land information system, also sustainable soil and land management, ecosystem structures and functions, soil and water quality, and biogeochemistry.
Peer Review Process
In the reviewing process, there are at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers for each manuscript in the related topic. In addition, author(s) can also propose the candidate of reviewers. Judgement from the first reviewer will be main priority for editor to make decision, if there are only two reviewers. Four weeks will be needed for reviewer to complete one round reviewing process.
Generally, the candidate of reviewers will be chosen based on their reputation in the international publication number and quality. Next step, The Editor send the invitation letter for each candidate of reviewer. After the candidate of reviewer informed their availabilities for reviewing process, Editor create account for each reviewer and then send manuscript by OJS.
All reviewing process are in double-blind peer review and managed by an editor in the OJS. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection softaware to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using Turnitin software.
JTSL (Jurnal Tanah dan Sumberdaya Lahan) is published in a single volume every year. Each volume consists of two issues, normally published in January and July. In addition, special issues consisting of a collection of papers dealing with a specific theme (e.g. proceeding of scientific conferences) may also published. Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
The journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. This is in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative.
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
Authors should submit only original work that is not plagiarized and not has been published or being considered elsewhere. Turnitin or other software will be used by the editorial team to check for similarities of submitted manuscripts with existing literature. The maximum allowed similarity index is 20%.
